Hotel Policies

HOTEL CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 2:00 pm. If you should arrive earlier, we will make every effort to accommodate you when possible. We will gladly store your luggage until check-in time.

Check-out time is 11:00 am. Luggage storage is again available until your boat departure.

NO SMOKING AND NO ELEVATOR
We are a smoke free property and we do not have an elevator.

CANCELLATIONS
If your plans must be changed, please notify us immediately. We have a 7-day cancellation policy which states that a cancellation prior to the beginning of the 7-day period will be refunded less the $20.00 service charge. A cancellation at the start of the 7-day period is non-refundable unless we are able to re-sell the room. A re-book for the amount we were able to re-sell the room for (less the $20.00 cancellation fee) will be issued to you. All package reservations are non-refundable. Because we are a small hotel on an island, cancellations effect us significantly, therefore we must abide by our policy in all circumstances.

We do not allow pets.

RATES, TAXES, and HOTEL GRATUITIES
Rates do not include a 12% Avalon room occupancy tax and are subject to change without prior notice. Gratuities for the chambermaids are not included in the room rate.

The Catalina Island Inn hotel is in the heart of Avalon just steps from the beach, restaurants, shops, and activities. Just about everything in the town of Avalon is within a five-minute walk. Our local grocery store is conveniently located right next door!

We’re An Easy, Level Walk from the
Boat Terminal

Although taxis are available at the Boat terminal, most people like to walk along Avalon Bay to the Catalina Island Inn hotel. A short, flat, scenic, 8-minute walk will get you to the Catalina Island Inn hotel.
