Celebrate our 45th anniversary with us at the California Trail Marathon Championship, known as the Catalina Island Marathon, on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
This "bucket list" trail marathon is California's oldest trail marathon and the only one that runs across an island in the Pacific Ocean. The marathon starts in Two Harbors and runs back to the City of Avalon, along the way you will experience views of the Pacific Ocean, wildlife, wildflowers, incredible scenery you will only experience running at the peaks of an island.
The marathon begins at 7 am in Two Harbors, the 5K & 10K are at 8:15 and 8:30. This event benefits the Catalina Island Conservancy and their mission to keep Catalina pure and beautiful.
