Celebrate the sea at the first-ever Catalina Island Mermaid Festival, a weekend filled with art, music, and ocean-inspired fun for all ages. Held along Avalon’s scenic Crescent Avenue and waterfront, the event will feature a local art walk, live music, a beer garden, and themed activities throughout both days.
Festival highlights include mermaid tours, a swim experience at Lover’s Cove, a beachside sand tail contest, and Saturday night’s outdoor screening of The Little Mermaid. Families can also enjoy face painting, photo stations, and the popular Rubber Ducky Derby hosted by the Avalon Interact Club.
Restaurants, shops, and bars across Avalon will join in with mermaid-themed specials.
