Can You Gamble On Catalina Island?
Despite its name, the Catalina Casino is not actually a casino, so you won’t find any gambling there. Instead, this “casino” plays host to the island’s most exciting events and year-round entertainment including concerts, festivals and plays. You can even take one of three guided walking tours of the casino and Avalon Theatre.
What Can I See At The Avalon Theatre?
The Avalon Theatre is a gorgeous, 1,184-seat theatrical palace with a 50-foot domed ceiling that shows feature films every night starting at 6:30pm. On Friday and Saturday evening, about one hour before the start of the film, you can also enjoy a performance by the theatre’s old pipe organ.
