Everyone was very nice

It's the first time for me and fiance to visit catalina Island and you search and search for a hotel and I am glad we found this one..balcony view of ocean was nice and walking distance to restaurants and beach..highly recommend this hotel and very clean and employees extremely kind and when you ask about places to eat they were spot on..thank you

Very central to shopping, activities, market, and eateries. We had the front room so we had windows. Very effective air/heat and strong ceiling fan helped us stay comfortable (we used them all). Upon checking in we had a lovely women named Lola give us plenty of useful tips. Ladies - bring a shower cap unless you want to wet your hair every time you shower. We used the keurig as our hot water dispenser for quick eats (picked up at Vons). Watch the shower curtain so you don't get the floor all wet. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, makeup remover cloth, and bar soap for sink. Remember you will be using stairs here (no elevator). Checkin at 4 pm. Checkout at 11 am. Would happily stay there again.

Had an amazing experience last summer here, great location, friendly staff, and our room was fantastic. Staff here was ultra attentive. Everything felt modern and cozy. I love the whole decor and vibe of this place, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I usually stay at this place at least twice a year, when we run the 10K Catalina Island Marathon.

Room was gorgeous and spacious, very clean, and a perfect walking distance from the main strip of restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Lovely place. Stayed there a few times now, and it's the same great experience.

Im a female traveling alone and I felt very safe here. This place is definitely one of the nicer and more modern places to stay in Avalon! Its a 3 minute walk from just about everything. I stayed for new years weekend and it was quiet in my room despite the celebrations! The staff helped me with all of my needs without issue (talked with 4 different staff members). Getting extra towels was quick and easy. I was able to leave my bags behind the front desk until Check in. They called me 2 hours before my check in time to tell me my room was ready. Beautiful, clean room. I’ll be staying here again in the future. Usually I don’t leave reviews, but I had to after I read all of the bad reviews! None of them are valid, lol. This place is amazing, don’t be discouraged by these google reviews!
