This place is super cute & well done. Their Reno updates the rooms while keeping some of it’s quaint 1900’s vibe. Though there’s no elevator, the walk up (we’re on the fourth floor), offers architecture & finishes to look at as you go. There’s also a small balcony 1/2 way up with a water feature that faces the street. The room is comfortable & the bed was clean. Loved their choice of toiletries, very fitting for this area. The coffee could use some work...if I had to complain, very weak. Have not had much interaction with the staff but upon returning to our room, they did ask if we would like our room serviced later (we had the do not disturb placard on the door). We said no as we’re only here 2 nights & we want to do our part to conserve water. This Inn is centrally located & very easy to get to area shops/attractions. The view from our room is phenomenal & so relaxing to sit out in the balcony to watch the world go by. We have to return to California in December so I think we will come back here for the bulk of our stay.

Exceeded expectations! Friendly staff, tastefully decorated, and close to everything. Our private balcony provided us a pleasant view of the bay. We would definitely book here again.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is kept up very well and is simply charming. The staff were very friendly. We had a great view of the water from our room on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, so if you can't manage stairs I'd ask for a room on the lower floors. My wife has been to Catalina multiple times and stated that this property was exceptional for the island.

The staff is amazing and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Great location for lots of walking adventures and the rooms where well-appointed and so comfortable. Highly recommend!

First-class service from the entire staff. Beautiful room on the first floor with no stairs since my husband was not that spry this trip. Lovely Mother’s Day treat from the owners of champagne and chocolates. Very clean room with lots of space to gather with other family members. A wonderful weekend in Catalina!!

Very relaxing. Only stayed one night but we were able to see a lot since it was on a week night. We were here fifteen years earlier as part of a cruise ship excursion to get married. We didn't have time to really enjoy the island then but we arrived engaged and left married. The Catalina Island Inn had an easy check-in. The staff including Mark was very helpful. Our room was nice with a beautiful view of the cruise ship turning to leave. The bathroom was huge with a nice walk-in shower. We took a walk to the place on Clarissa street where we were married but we we unable to get to the top of the island where we exchanged our vows. We were ok with that. Maybe next time. We had dinner at Mi Casita and walked along the storefronts to enjoy the live music at Luau Larry's. We picked up some souvenirs before shops started closing and picked up some snacks from Vons. We even played the lottery there! (No winner). We returned to our room and had a good quiet night's sleep. I woke up early and went to walk to the port and back and was able to see more in the light than we missed the night before including an arcade and spa! I returned to our room. My wife and I prepared to leave but not before taking the bus for a ride to see how far it goes around the island. The bus stops right outside and we were able to take it for a loop to the Botanical garden and through the bottom part of the island to the dock. We then had breakfast at Original Jack's, went back to the inn for an easy check-out and walked to the dock to take the Catalina Express back to Long Beach. A pleasant and issue-free trip. We're already planning our return. Thank you for having us!!
