It's the first time for me and fiance to visit catalina Island and you search and search for a hotel and I am glad we found this one..balcony view of ocean was nice and walking distance to restaurants and beach..highly recommend this hotel and very clean and employees extremely kind and when you ask about places to eat they were spot on..thank you

Very central to shopping, activities, market, and eateries. We had the front room so we had windows. Very effective air/heat and strong ceiling fan helped us stay comfortable (we used them all). Upon checking in we had a lovely women named Lola give us plenty of useful tips. Ladies - bring a shower cap unless you want to wet your hair every time you shower. We used the keurig as our hot water dispenser for quick eats (picked up at Vons). Watch the shower curtain so you don't get the floor all wet. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, makeup remover cloth, and bar soap for sink. Remember you will be using stairs here (no elevator). Checkin at 4 pm. Checkout at 11 am. Would happily stay there again.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!

We stayed in room 203. A decent size family suite. Does not have any views from the room, but is very close to the Main Street. The main advantage is the location. Considering that the island has limited mobility (no rental cars), the location of the hotel is a major advantage. Unfortunately, there are no elevators, if you have a room on the third floor, be ready to climb up a lot of stairs.

Stayed at the hotel with my wife for a night. We really enjoyed it. The receptionist was very helpful; she even contacted us and let us know that the room was ready earlier than we expected. The room was clean and huge! Balcony, fireplace, king bed—everything was made to enjoy the stay. Dear management, please reward your staff; they are worth it!

The hotel was lovely, and the gentleman at check-in was so welcoming and hospitable. The location is perfect—just a short walk to all the fun things Catalina has to offer. I’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely little room with an ocean view. It is an older hotel. No elevator. No bells and whistles. But clean, quiet, close to the main street, great view, friendly staff.

I used the outside balcony quite a bit and loved the expanded area.
